Senior Pastor
Reverend Rodney L. Ronneberg, STS - has been St Paul's pastor since 1989. Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, and
reared in Longmont, Colorado, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and a Master of Divinity
degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He has completed additional post graduate
studies in worship and theology at Gettysburg Seminary and in ecumenical studies at St. Thomas Seminary in Denver; as a student
of Liturgy he has regularly attended the Institute of Liturgical Studies at Valparaiso University. He has served
as co-chair of synodical worship committees in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He has been pastor of Lutheran congregations
in Pennsylvania and Colorado. He is the author of A Little Book of Canons, a book of Eucharistic prayers, first published in 1997. He
is a member of the Society of the Holy Trinity (STS), and was the founding Dean of its Chesapeake-Potomac Chapter. He
serves on the Board of Trustees for the National Lutheran Home in Rockville, MD. He is an avid runner and loves music
- from Bach to Rock! He is married to Prudence Hunter Ronneberg. They have three grown children and are the proud
grandparents of Aidan, Gillian, and Cameron.

Pastor
Rev.
Cathy Ammlung, STS, Associate Pastor- is from the Chicago area. She graduated from Loyola University
of Chicago and has a Master's degree in Chemistry from Northwestern (where she met her husband, Rich). She and Rich
were married in 1977. They moved to St. Louis after Rich got his doctorate in chemistry. While there, she
took classes at local seminaries; she finished her M.Div. at Gettysburg in 1987 and her Master's degree in Theology at
Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis the following year. She and Rich then moved to Massachusetts, where
she was ordained in 1990. They moved to Maryland in 1994. She is a member of the Society of the Holy Trinity. Her
hobby and passion is raising, breeding, training and competing (obedience, agility, and herding) their Shetland Sheepdogs
("mini Lassies"). She and Rich have 5 dogs : Amelia, Piccolo, Chipper, Lyta, and Lyta's newest puppy
Kiri.
Debbie Marston, our Administrative Assistant
Debbie has been our administrative assistant and office
manager for the past three years. In addition to her daily work, she is also the council rep. for Christian Education
at St. Paul's.

Lynn
Allen Dean, Director of Music Ministry Lynn was appointed as Director
of Music Ministry at St. Paul's Parish in April, 2011. A native Marylander, Lynn began his education at Concordia Lutheran
School, Hyattsville Maryland from elementary school through the ninth grade. It was during the middle school years that Lynn
developed a keen interest in church music, and began playing services at his home church at the age of 12. Lynn continued
studying organ through high school and went on to attend the Catholic University of America's School of Music where he graduated
with a music performance degree Cum Laude in 1967. Graduate study included the School of Religious Studies at CU and the Westminster
Choir College, Princeton. He received an advanced Certificate of Liturgical Music from The Oblate College, Washington, DC.
His teachers included Conrad Bernier, Dale Krider and Daniel Roth. Lynn has performed at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter
and St. Paul (Washington Cathedral) as an organ recitalist, as well as the Organist/Choirmaster for an Evensong liturgy and
the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Cathedral. He has also performed at the Basilica of the National Shrine, Washington,
DC as well as Notre Dame Cathedral and Ste. Sulpice in Paris, France. Lynn was featured in the Bach marathon at Chevy Chase
Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC as well as organ soloist at St. Luke Lutheran, Bethesda and Woodside United Methodist
churches in suburban Maryland. Lynn has conducted workshops on liturgy and music, and has even preached on occasion in the
churches he has served. Lynn resides in Olney. He is married to Mary Kay and they are the proud parents of Megan, Jack, Beth
and Katelyn. Lynn is grateful to be apart of finely crafted liturgical worship for which St. Paul's is known.
